Young Apprentices currentley studying their BTEC 1st Diploma in Construction and the Built Environment took time out to visit the new carnival arts building in Luton.

The visit to the building, that is still under construction at the rear of the University of Bedfordshire, will provide enough learning materials to enhance their course for the next year. Tony Bowcutt of the Apollo Group started the visit with a health and safety briefing and a discussion about the site plans. This was followed by a site tour, highlighting the elements that were discussed from the plan.

Pete Stamford, a course tutor from Barnfield College took the opportunity to link important aspects of the day back to the course content at college.
